Reynolds the Educator
Award-Winning Educator - Creator of VOCABULARY R.A.P. CAMP - Education Innovator
I’m Marques Reynolds, a passionate educator, literacy innovator, and coach with nearly 20 years of experience as an English Language Arts teacher. My journey in the classroom inspired me to create Vocabulary R.A.P. Camp, a unique program that uses social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to make vocabulary learning engaging and accessible. Through interactive posts, assessments, and real-world applications, I aim to help learners build advanced vocabulary skills, boosting both their reading confidence and comprehension. With Vocabulary R.A.P. Camp Live, I bring hands-on workshops to schools, making vocabulary learning dynamic and enjoyable.

In addition to my work in literacy, I serve as a Clinical Educator Trainer, where I mentor new teachers in classroom management and technology integration. I’ve also enjoyed coaching as a Varsity Boys Golf Coach and former Varsity Boys/Girls Soccer Head Coach, leading student-athletes to excel—including a record-setting 7-0 conference season with the Varsity Girls Soccer team. In the classroom, my data-driven strategies have contributed to raising our school’s graduation rate from 80% to 99%. The Florida Department of Education has recognized me as an “Effective” and “Highly Effective” educator, which fuels my commitment to fostering a supportive, achievement-focused culture.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Florida, bringing a background in communication, collaboration, and leadership to my work. As a former Professional Learning Community Team Lead, I’ve driven continuous improvement through teacher collaboration and data analysis.
I’m dedicated to shaping the future of literacy education and creating opportunities for all students to succeed. Connect with me to explore ways we can empower learners and build a brighter future in education.
